Scoring My Memoir
In my story “My Grandpa” I scored myself in Analysis and Inquiry as “Developing” because I relate and tell about my personal experience from when my grandpa died so that s the reason I gave myself that score.
Structure and Organization I scored myself as “Proficient/College Ready” because I wrote my story in an organized and structured way. The reason I choose this is because I took my time to right every detail from leaving Houston and going to Mexico, from the hospital to the funeral. So I was able to put out my feelings and reactions about what had happened.
Command of Language, I scored a “Proficient/College Ready” as well because I demonstrated a clear style with a confident voice. By doing this I had lots of sad/happy memoires by thinking of it as I typed my college level paper.
